We had a week at Aviemore this February half-term. The plan was to do some gullies in the Northern Corries but the snow was very lean. All we could manage were variants of the Goat Track or Point 5 Gully or both, in pretty much any concievable order.
This September (2024) we returned to Sëlva Val Gardena for a week of Via Ferrata but were surprised to find a fresh dump of snow and very cold temperatures for the week.
