Park Mickleton stn. Minor rd N to village. FP NE across bridge to Ornella Fm. Follow Teesdale Way to Middleton, cross Tees and return on Tees Railway Walk. 8.8km, 120m ascent/descent, 2hr. Recorded 17/4/15.

Reeth High Moor
Park Surrender Bridge. Go E on FP via smelting mill on N bank of Barney Beck to meet BW at SE 010 993. Take BW NW past Nova Scotia to minor rd at Fore Gill Gate. Leave rd at Bouldershaw, hd NW on BW to Martin Vein. Continue W to Little Punchard Head. Go S on BW to North Rake Hush. Return SE to start down Hard Level Gill. 16.5km, 426m vertical, 3:50hr. Hamsterley Common
Park in lay by on B6278 at NY 997 307. Track then FP NE via Jack Scars to Pawlaw Pike. Shooter's track NE then E then ESE to Meeting of the Grains. ESE to Potato Hill (track curves S before wall, look out for FP straight on), Forest track SSW to Paddy's Plantation. Continue W on tracks by Euden Beck then climb NW over Sharnberry Flat. Leave forest, return W via Sharnberry Gill. 18.5km, 411m vertical, 3:42hr. (Recorded 28/07/14)

Gaping Gill
Park Clapham. Leave village N on E side of Beck. Pass church and climb E on track through 2 tunnels to Long Lane. Follow Lane N to wall line above Trow Gill. Contour N then W around Clapham Bottoms to meet path from Trow Gill by double stile. Go N past Bar Pot to Gaping Gill. Return to Bar Pot then descend via Trow Gill and Nature Trail to Clapham. 10km, 285m ascent, 2:30hr. (Recorded 05/09/14)
