Another early start over?the Weisshorn Pass, and across the 4km Plaine Morte glacier. Then we climbed the Wildstrubel (3243m) and the Mittlerer Gipfel (3244m) before descending glaciers to ?Cabane Lammeren (2501m).

Day 1:Les Diablerets?to the Cabane Prarochet
We took the?Col du Pillon?cable car to Sex Rouge (2945m)?glacier plateau below the ?Les Diableret mountain ridge. We had planned to climb the peak but due to very thick fog we decided just to focus on navigating to the Cabane Prarochet instead.

Castle crag, Dale head, onto Hindscarth then Robinson, down to Newlands up through Newlands to Rigghead up over High spy and Maiden mooor the down to Manesty (Borrowdale)

SWCP - Woolacombe to Bull Point Circular
Park Mortehoe (cheaper than Woolacombe). Follow lane to coast, take SWCP round to Bull Point then lane inland from Bull Point to join FP to Damage Barton camp site. Lanes to Woolacombe, return on SWCP. 12km, 450m ascent/descent, 2:55hr. Recorded 19/7/17.

Dartmoor - Steps Bridge to Clifford Bridge Circular
Park Steps Bridge car park. Return to river, follow river upstream on E bank of Teign to Clifford Bridge. Return on W bank as far as footbridge. Follow signposted route via BW over hill to start. (Permissive path along bank to car park was closed 1/4/17). 8.9km, 260m ascent/descent, 1:50hr. Recorded 18/7/17.
