Round Askrigg in the Dales

 Details: Starting at the car park in Askrigg this route goes out over the River Ure to Bainbridge then circles round Askrigg travelling along the edge of Brough Scar before descending to Worton village, Nappa Mill and Nappa Hall. It then climbs steadily up Harr Gill before contouring along a track to briefly join the Reeth road. After a brief descent down the road, it follows Low Straights Lane as far as the woods surrounding Whitfield Beck finally returning to Askrigg by the Beck, visiting Whitfield Gill Force and Mill Gill Force en route. It finishes at the Kings Arms in Askrigg which featured as The Dover's Arms in the TV Series All Creatures Great and Small. 14.4km, 363m ascent/descent,3:35hr. Recorded 29/06/15
