  • 1st logged as missing on the 19th Set 1988 and still being logged as missing right up until the 15th Aug 2011. Logged as being destroyed by the OS in 1987 at the request of the landowner.

  • Don't have any record of visiting the trig point here. But since I walked along this ridge several times prior to 1987, it's almost inconceivable that I wouldn't have visited it, bearing in mind it's on the One Inch map, and the later 1983 1:25 000 Dark Peak map as the hill's highpoint. I have a vague recollection anyway of a rest stop looking down at cars moving along Monk's Road, more or less where the trig point used to be.
