  • Found this trig point today 24/04/14. It is in a back garden and the trig is built into the garden wall. The other trig nearby has been removed

  • Pillar destroyed 1947. Pillar seen by mccoywynne is probably the Upton Beacon Connecting Point pillar

  • Found the water tower and summit OK (hard not to) but searched high and low for trig which I guessed (correctly)was in one of the back gardens but nobody at home so thought better not explore uninvited.
