Member's Comments on River Hill...

  • Chris Pearson says...
  • Easier than I feared. From south kept to west side of track alongside field edge, hidden from houses by hedge, around to NE corner high point next to the old Telegraph House, built in 1829 as a semaphore signalling station (Sir Home Riggs Popham system) on a line from Chatley Heath, a station on the London to Portsmouth line, westwards towards Plymouth.
  • JohnR says...
  • At lunchtime, parked up near Binsted and then took the footpath that went North. A detour back South then took me up to the HP - 28/03/2017.
