  • May 2015 on a 2hr sunday morning club run. The hill top to the north of the trig feels lower looking back to the trig? Hill lies in the Angmering Park Estate -a traditional agricultural and sporting Estate of some 6,750 owned by the Trustees of the late Bernard, 16th Duke of Norfolk for the benefit of his daughters and other wider members of his family. The Estate’s origins go back to the Norman Conquest. Activities on the Estate include farming, a racing yard (gallops to the west of the top) , shooting and other country pursuits, property letting and forestry. (and for the public walking, mountain biking running on the many rights of way)
