  • 1 and half hour circular walk up and down the dissected sandstone ridge on the suburban fringes of Dorking. Bury Hill- The Tower - The Terrace. (the Greensand Way follows the ridge) We used to start our Bronze D of E groups off all loaded up on their final 2 day expedition from the Nower car park below. I once saw them off, nipped into Dorking for a haircut and still beat them to their first checkpoint.
