Member's Comments on Telegraph Hill...

  • Nick Wakelam says...
  • There are good hills; bad hills and then there are Borough tops!
Parked in pub car park and walked back up the main road (very difficult to cross as so busy). Impregnable with fences and security cameras. Walked a bit further up the road north from the gate to find the highest point not on private land.
  • Chris Pearson says...
  • Dark. Did not climb locked gate at road due to warning signs, and tales on hillbagginguk of a impenetrable inner fenced compound and security cameras , but no talk of gorillas, tigers or rhinos which are in another secure compound 1 mile down the road at Chessington "Britain's Wildest Adventure".
  • jonglew says...
  • Pillar destroyed November 1961, replaced by Surface Block
