  • Not sure trig is highest point; but difficult to tell. Good views.
Richmond Park is lovely; especially all the mature trees; but ruined by the number of visitors. Never seen so many cyclists in my life!
Plenty of free car parks; but very full on a sunny Sunday.
  • Chris Pearson says...
  • Flocks of squawking parakeets and deer locking antlers. 2hr across the parks walk from Wimbledon to Richmond. From the summit of King Henry's Mound (in public grounds of Pembroke House - to west of trig pillar) there is protected view of St Paul's Cathedral,(too murky to see when I was there at dusk) although apparently a development of Victoria Station blocks the right hand corner.
  • JohnR says...
  • Parked up nearby and then walked through the park to the Trigpoint in my lunch hour whilst working in Wimbledon. Fallow Deer and Stock Doves seen - 13/05/2010.
