Devils Punch Bowl Hindhead Surrey Circular
A walk to Surrey's second highest point, Gibbet Hill, and a stop at the NT cafe and hopefully witnessing the excellent views on offer. The startand finish will be at the Wheatsheaf Inn, Grayswood (GU27 2DE) which has car parking available. Distance about 10 miles.

Exmoor - Withypool Common
This route affords good views of the Exmoor countryside. The section from Lanacre Gate across the moor to Hawkridge Common can be boggy and hard going but is OK after a dry spell or when the ground is frozen. Note there is no path over this section - follow the hedge. 10.6km, 331m ascent/descent, 2:35hrs. Recorded 10/6/18

A walk in the hills behind Woolacombe using quiet lanes, by-ways, green lanes, bridleways and footpaths. Three strenuous climbs, could be muddy in places after wet weather. Some parts may be prone to overgrowth. 12.9km, 451m ascent/descent, 3:10hrs. Recorded 7/6/18

SWCP - Mortehoe Lee Circular
The short sharp gradients make this a strenuous walk but the coastal views and Borough Woods make the effort worthwhile. The section through the woods can be muddy at any season so boots (or a hoverboard) are advisable. It can be done from Lee or Mortehoe and can be broken in 2 as there is a pub in Lee and pubs and tea rooms in Mortehoe. 11.5km, 604m ascent/descent, 3:28hrs. Recorded 4/6/18

North Devon - Arlington Court & Loxhore
This is walk 18 in the OS Pathfinder Guide - North and Mid Devon Walks. Starting from the NT car park at Arlington Court the route explores much of the estate and parts of the surrounding countryside. The going and gradients make this walk harder than it looks on paper. 11km, 489m ascent/descent, 2:42hrs. Recorded 2/6/18.

Crookdale Horseshoe with Harrop Pike and Grey Crag
630mtrs ascent and descent, 17.6 km. Start at Shap summit layby on the A6 (NY553,063) This walk is the Crookdale Horseshoe but turning off at Lord's Seat to take in Harrop Pike and Grey Crag, returning to Lord's Seat to complete the Horseshoe. I suggest you only do this walk after a prolonged period of dry weather - the first section by the beck is bog and tussock and you will have to pick your own way along it to avoid the worst - my track is my selection. Once on Lord's Seat the terrain is much better and there is a quad track for most of the way from then on. Went through an obvious hole in the wall off High House Bank but there is a stile somewhere near if the wall has been repaired.
