The High Way (Lady Anne's Way)
Park by Moorcroft Inn. Take FP NE towards Cobbles Plantation then track NW to Blades. Climb NE on FP to meet High Way at High Dyke. Follow High Way NW to Hell Gill Bridge (trace has detours to see caves and potholes). Descend SW to cross road at Aisgill. Follow BW south to climb Turner Hill via Rowan Tree Side. Descend E to cross rwy on footbridge to meet minor rd. Return on rd. 12km, 329m ascent, 3hr. (Recorded on 04/09/14)

Threlkeld Railway Walk
Park Blease Rd, Threlkeld. Walk back 80m, take FP WSW via Ings to Wescoe. Follow minor rd to Derwentfolds. FP S across Greta to Brundholme. Follow rwy path E under A66 to Threlkeld Bridge. Regain rwy path, cross B5322, pass industrial estate and leave path to cross Greta on Mill Bridge. Return to Threlkeld on FP across fields. 8.6km, 160m ascent, 1:48hr. (Recorded 03/09/14)

God's Bridge
Park NY980124. BW NE to Pennine Way then W along PW to East Mellwaters, Take riverside paths to God's Bridge. FP SE to West Mellwaters then PW to East Mellwaters. BW S over Sleighthome Beck to Trough Scars. Follow wall E to minor rd and return to start. 8.6km, 129m ascent, 1:54hr. (Recorded 30/08/14)

Great Punchard Gill and Annaside Edge
Park at NY947072. Follow minor rd to Punchard Gate. Track S towards Punchard House then FP by wall to join Punchard Gill at Routh Level. Track E to Punchard Gill Coal Level then path NW to West Moor. E by Annaside Edge to Great Scollit Hill. Descend on shooters' track NW to William Gill. Return NE by Wiiliam Gill then on minor rd. 13.1km, 311m ascent, 2:42hr. (Recorded on 27/08/14)

Cotherstone Moor
Park at NY935176. Take track 110m E of Pennine Way S to Race Yate Rigg. Left through gate to follow BW E to Ladyfold Rigg. Pennine Way N then NW past Goldsborough to regain minor rd and return to car park. 9km, 148m ascent, 1:53hr. (Recorded 26/08/14)

Aye Gill Pike
From Dent follow Dales Way W to Barth Bridge. Minor rd N to Lunds. Continue N on track then FP to ridge at Long Moor. Follow wall/fence ESE to Aye Gill Pike. Continue E past Rise Hill to wood at Snaizwold Fell. At Black Hill Moss descend on BW S cross Ewegales Bridge. Leave minor rd at Rivling to follow Dales Way as far as Laithbank. Langdale Valley Walk
From NT car park at New Dungeon Ghyll take track E to rejoin B5343 at Robinson Place. Follow rd SE to Chapel Stile. Take Cumbria Way W to Side House. Leave Cumbria Way on FP to Wood S of camp site. FP N to join minor rd the B5343 to car park. 8.6km, 190m ascent, 2hr. (Recorded 19/08/14)

Puffin Island, Anglesey
Routes to summit of Puffin Island. 1.3km round trip. The southern route follows clifftop avoiding scrub and brambles, but nesting seabirds would be encountered in summer. Northern route has deep brambles and scrub. A better path has been reported a bit N of this line. NB owner's permission is needed to land

Park in Dent. Minor rd to Church Bridge. Follow Dales Way E alongside Dee to Mill Bridge. Minor rd E to Sike Fold House. FP N to cross river on Tommy Bridge. Park off minor rd at NY847309. Track S then SW across Widdybank Pasture to meet Pennine Way. Follow PW E to Saur Hill Bridge. Continue on PW by Tees to Cronkley Bridge. Leave PW on FP to Wat Garth. Take FP to Knott Hill and join track to Saur Hill Bridge. Recross bridge and take FP alongside Langdon Beck to Intake Farm. 7.5km, 68m vertical, 1:50hr. (Recorded 07/08/14)
