  • At last a crag in the south of England which had me longing for days on the grit back in Sheffield. Here it is small 10 foot ironstone band of rock on the prominent summit of one of the 3 jumps (hills) The steepest arete had weathered into sandy pockets to give an easy few moves. Great views over heathland to the north - The two Frensham ponds were built in the Middle Ages to provide fish for the Bishop of Winchester's estate and today are the backdrop for a hotel and are used for fishing and sailing.
