- 1/12/23 Lane and fp up from Stavely at start of a 3hr 12k solo wizz around 7 tops (5 new P15/P20s) on a glorious frost blue sky sunny afternoon with razor sharp visibility except when looking into the low glinting sun. Easy diversion to sheep pasture random top through gap in wall. A rocky outcrop 500m south looked like a possible high point contender but not quite . 20 roofs down in Stavely shining like mirrors. Farmer across valley on quad rounding up sheep -lots of shouting- thought it was aimed at me initially! 2 low jets destroyed the tranquillity - ground trembled. Flock of airborne seagulls must have thought the world was ending.
