- 29/11/2023. A beautiful November frosty sub zero morning at 9am, Crunchy grass from field gate at road junction past puzzled sheep who had already had their breakfast delivered of a fresh hay bale with tractor tracks in the frost. Lovely rocky ribs on summit. From Damson Dean pub car park - on my way from Troutbeck to Kendal to put out orienteering controls for tonight's urban night event which I have planned
