- 1st of a round of 6 hills with L and Darren on the best day of the week - no thick gloom and driving drizzle today. Climbed this reclaimed hill of the china clay works to west of Loudon Hill Tump first - later Lidar ed it to be 4.5 m lower than Louden Hill. The old China clay lake was readily bought by SW Water when the works closed as it provided a ready made reservoir. (The lake was formed by the constant use of high pressure water hoses to mine the soft china clay.)
