Yippee; yet another road junction! At least it was only a short stroll from the tube
  • Chris Pearson says...
  • Walk form Finsbury Park tube to Manor House tube via the calm of the well maintained Finsbury Park which is in Haringey which is one of the most deprived authorities in the country, ranking 13 out of 326 English authorities which is based on specific issues, such as health or crime. A 2005 strategic assessment noted that Haringey was deficient in all types of open space. This fact underlines the importance of providing a high quality, robust, attractive landscape, and focus for the community activities and events including sports, recreation and the arts. These functions are in addition to its essential role in providing an open space for the many local people who do not have access to a garden and a first contact with nature for those, particularly children, without means to visit the wider countryside.
