Format of File

You may upload a file of 6 figure Irish grid references: Separated as one per line, in the format "A123456" Where A is a single uppercase letter and 123456 are 6 digits; 3 eastings and 3 northings (at 100m resolution).

Or you may upload a file of 10 figure Irish grid references: Separated as one per line, in the format "A,12345,67890" Where A is a single uppercase letter letters and 12345 & 67890 are 10 digits; 5 eastings and 5 northings (at 1m resolution). These must be separated by spaces or commas. This is ideal for importing GPSU files or other CSV files containing 10 figure grid references.
