9 miles, 2400 ft. of ascent. Starting from Howtown this walk takes in White Knott (Synge), Arthur's Pike, Loadpot Hill, Swarth Fell and Bonscale Pike. Allow about 5 hours. The descent from Bonscale Pike is pathless & quite steep!

Length 7.2 miles, 1700 ft. of ascent. The walk starts from Armboth car park and takes in High Seat, High Tove, Middle crag, Shivery Knott, Watendlath Fell (Long Moss Synge) Armboth Fell and Fisher Crag. A steep start but the rest is a pleasant amble.
