    Good day,

We’re going to visit the Glenlivit area in May and like to make some walks around. Of course we could buy a walking map, but firstly I’ve a Etrex20 so I like to make or find (gpx) tracks and secondly is my question; is it possible to create ones own tracks from a detailed map online? Or are there any gpx files to find around Glenlivet and Tomintoul. I found a few, but not from Your site, which has loads of tracks in the area around.

Hope You can help me on this.

    Sincerely,

    Rob

    Hi Rob
Sorry we haven’t any routes on our site in that area at the moment – if you do record any while you are there we would love to host them for other users in the future.

In terms of using online mapping to make a GPX route then you could try OS get a map service at http://www.getamap.ordnancesurveyleisure.co.uk or a number of other options you can find on the web.

Personally i prefer a PC based solution like Memory Map
