Details: This is a track log of a West to East traverse of the Meall nan Tarmachan ridge. Access in is via the good landrover track and then via south ridge of Creag na Caillich. This is fairly steep and verging on a Grade 1 scramble in places, swing further west to avoid this steep ground. From Creag na Caillich follow the path along this nice ridge to the summit of Meall nan Tarmachan and descend via the normal tourist route. Distance 14k, 980m ascent, time approx 5 hrs.
