Details: Park Haytor visitors centre. Route follows minor road NE to first car park before crossing moor NW to Black Hill. After continuing SW to Smallacombe Rocks route tuns N then NW to cross Bekka Brook on FB. From here a steady climb WNW past Medieval Settlement to Hounds Tor. To return strike NW to meet minor road and follow it S to Holwell Lawn. Take FP SE to recross Bekka Brook and then a stiff climb to Holwell Tor before continuing on to Haytor rocks. 10km, 420m ascent/descent, 3hrs. Recorded 17/07/18.
