  • fpath from sleepy Bouughton Malherbe where in August 2011 a hoard of more than 350 bronze weapons, tools, ornaments dating to the late Bronze Age was found in a nearby field by two metal detectorists. The objects are believed to have been made in France and later brought to southern Britain where they were subsequently buried in about 875–800 BC. I just found a trig pillar which was hard being enough tucked into a prickly hedge and just reachable at a stretch.
