From High Cascades NT car park near Dockray, the route follows footpaths by Aira Beck to view High Force and Aira Force then makes a circuit along the flanks of Gowbarrow Fell to Ulcat Row before crossing to Matterdale End and then by tracks and roads back to Dockray. 10.6km, 303m ascent/descent, 2:30hr.
