Round Watendlath
Very scenic walk starting Nr the youth hostel at Rosthwaite over to Stonethwaite bridge, up steep climb to Dock Tarn, Watendlath, over Jopplety How, down to Bowderstone, then Grange back along the river to Rosthwaite. Three and a half to four hours.

Buttermere Grt Gable
Start and end Buttermere village. 21km Along Buttermere to Scarth Gap, down to Black Sail Youth Hostel in Ennerdale. Round the back of Grt Gable past Napes Needle to summit. Down to Windy Gap, Green Gable, Brandreth, Retrurn to Buttermere via Warnscale Beck.

Up Mardale Beck to Small Water, up Nan Bield Pass to Mardale lll Bell, over to Threshthwaite Mouth and down into Threshwaite Cove, down Pasture Beck back to Brothers Water
