Six Mamores 

Track log from an ascent of 6 Mamore Munros. [Sgurr Eilde, Binnein Beag, Binnein Mor, Na Grugaichean, Stob Coire a' Chairn & Am Bodach] Start point in a layby on outskirts of Kinlochleven [Alternate start point is Mamores Hotel for small fee - would save a few hundred metres of ascent] Distance 25km, ascent 2400m approx, time just over 12 hrs.

Sgurr nan Ceathreamhan 

This is a bike and hike track log of a traverse of Mullach na Dheiragain and Sgurr nan Ceathreamhan from the west. Start point is at the end of the public road near Killilan. From there access up Glen Elchaig by bike as far as Carnach [First few miles of estate road is tarred] Continue on foot up the Glen as far as Iron Lodge [Sounds grand but just a little cottage] and then head East up the landrover track. Once up onto Mullach na Dheiragain it is a fine high level ridge walk over Sgurr nan Ceathreamhan and back to Carnach. Distance 44k [22k by bike], ascent 1900m, approx 11hrs.

Beinn Bhreac 

Corbet Beinn Bhreac bike and hike track log. The route to this very remote Corbet is by Bike from Calvine on the A9 as far as Bruar Lodge. From there on foot more or less as suggested in the SMC Corbets guide book. The return took in Munro Beinn Dearg. Distance approx 43k [26 on bike], 1480m ascent, time just over 9 hrs.

South Glen Shiel Ridge 

Linear traverse of 7 munros of South Glen Shiel from Cluanie Inn: Druim Shionnach (987m), Creag a'Mhaim (946m), Druim Shionnach (again), Aonach air Chrith (1021m), Maol Chinn-dearg (981m), Maol Chinn-dearg (981m), Sgurr an Lochain (1004m), Creag nan Damh (918m) . 22km + 2060m ascent, 12 hours in winter conditions.

Beinn Iutharn Mh?r 

Beinn Iutharn Mhor and Carn Bhac are the highest hills in the area south-south-west of Inverey between the headwaters of the River Tilt and the Ey Burn.

Beinn Dorain 

These two mountains form the southern half of the range that overlooks Loch Tulla and the headwaters of the River Orchy. Beinn Dorain is one of the most familiar of Scottish mountains, recognisable by its conical shape and great upsweep above the West Highland Railway

Sgurr ? Mhadaidh 

gurr a' Mhadaidh is a four-topped peak, the highest point being where a prominent spur jutting out from the Main Ridge leads north-west to Sgurr Thuilm.

Spittal of Glenshee 5 - a big day out 

A big linear winter day out to bag; An Socach, Carn Bach, Beinn Iutharn Mhor, Carn an Righ and Glas Tulaichean. Then a long walk back to the main road in the dark.  NB: This file is a 'Route' consisting of a small number of Waypoints plotted on a Computer, it is NOT as detailed as a Track recorded by a GPS in the field.   Start: Cairnwell Ski Centre Car Park NO139780  Distance: 21.0 miles, Ascent: 1950 meters, Estimated Walking Time: 11 hrs.

Beinn a'Bhuird & Ben Avon-Leabaidh an Daimh Bhuidhe 

Ascent of Beinn a’Bhuird North Top (1197m), Ben Avon-Leabaidh an Daimh Bhuidhe (1171m) from Linn of Quoich Car Park. 19.5 miles, 1500m ascent 10.5 hours. Takes an unusual short cut over Carn Elrig Mor col which shortens the route but isn't seen in the guide books.
