From the car park at the intersection of B4405 and A487, clockwise around Cwm Cau, Penygadair, and Mynydd Moel. The views from the top of Penygadair are well worth the effort!

Moel Penamnen via Manod Mawr
Start in layby SH706437. Approx 9 miles starting with paths up to Manod Mawr then its through the slate quarry to the north top before following fences across boggy ground to get to Moel Penamnen. Also bags Foel Fras and Moel Farlwyd.

Cnicht to Allt-Fawr
Starting in the village of Croesor up to Cnicht around some nice mountain lakes ideal for a lunch stop then on to Ysgafell north top then the actual summit followed by Moel Druman and Allt-Fawr before descending in to slate works (may want to stay fence side until A470)

Moel Siabod via Daear Ddu Ridge
6.5 miles, 5 hours. Starting and ending at the car park at SH 735 571. A great way to bag Moel Siabod with a fine ridge walk. We saw one person the whole time. The Daear Dddu ridge can be walked on the edge by keeping right or tamed and avoided by keeping to the left.

Snowdon in Snow Pyg Track Newyears Day
