We had originally planned to climb the Wilder Freiger (3519m), but due to slow progress with the deep snow decided to descend directly to ?tztal via the Schwarzwandscharte (3058m) and down to Timmeljock

Day 10: To Brandenburger Haus (3277m)
From the Vernagth?tte (2755m) we ascended the Guslarferner and then the Fluchtkogel (3500m) on the way to the Brandenburger Haus (3277m) Looks like the GPS was switched off from the Fluchtkogel to the Brandenburger!

Scharnitz - Gleirschklamm
From Scharnitz take trails 221 & 57 by river Isar to Gleirschklamm. Ascend gorge on narrow path then retrace steps to start of ascent. Climb over ridge to N then cross river and climb to Gleirschhohe. Return on trail 579. 12.2km, 495m ascent/descent, 3:40hr. Recorded 24/6/16.

We carefully navigated across the?Petersgrat (3205m) glacier in very thick fog and 50m visability. then descended to ?Fafleralp (1787m). From there we walked up to the luxurious?Anen Hut
