Penygarn from Cwmystwyth
Starting at the Cwmystwyth mining area the route takes in 2 low hils then makes its way up to the Summit of Penygarn. Similar length to the route from the Arch but less trees. On the way back keep to the fence to the west of the lake not the one to the east followed here as ground will be drier.

Strathfarrar 4 + An Sidhean
Track log from an ascent of the 4 Strathfarrar Munros plus the Corbett of An Sidhean. Start point is a track that starts just near the bridge over the Allt Coire Mhuillidh in Glen Strathfarrar. Distance just on 40 km, ascent approx 2200m, time over 12 hrs. A bike was prepositioned at the Monar Dam for a quick return down the glen at the end of the day. Note I was staying in the Culligran log cabins so there were no time constraints - the access restiction to Glen Strathfarrar mean that this route is probably not practical unless you are doing something similar or are running the route !
