The new route of the Y3P (avoiding the bogs on Horton Moor). Car parking is free in Horton in Ribblesdale if you can find a spot or ?4.20 for the car park in the middle of the village. The walk is 24.5 miles and took us 9hrs 40 mins.

From Greenholme BW SW via Low Winhowe to minor rd. Track W to Bretherdale Head then NW on BW up Bretherdale to cross A6. Track W then N to recross A6. Follow shooters' tracks to Packhorse Hill then SE across Birbeck Fells Common, over Crag Hill to Ewelock Bank. Finish on minor rd. 12.9km, 368m ascent/descent, 3:15hr. Recorded 3/12/14.
