Raise and Sheffield Pike
From Glencoyne NT Car Park walk follows lake shore to Glenridding then climbs up Greenside Road (track) past YHA and Kepple Cove to the summit of Raise. Then down to Sticks Pass to follow Sticks Gill before climbing to Sheffield Pike and Heron Pike. It then descends steeply to Glenridding Dodd before returning to start beside Mossdale Beck. 16.7km, 934m ascent/descent, 5:30hrs. Recorded 06/08/15.

Wheatsheaf-20-08-2008
Wheatsheaf walk. 5.00 miles. Starting (SU559129) at the Wheatsheaf pub carpark. Head across Shedfield Common to Turkey Island. Take the road south to the junction of Frith Lane and Blind Lane, head east towards Northfields Farm but head south onto the railway track. Follow the track all the way south until Webbs Land Farm. Leave the track here heading west towards Quob Farm. Head north and pick up the track at the road junction to Treetops Fram and then through Tankerhill Copse, northwest to Biddenfield Lane and back to the pub.
