Takes dis-used railway track south(footpath 502) until junction with footpath 15, heads west along 15 then 14, then 19 and 20 along Hambledon Road until footpath 4 north along this until footpath 5 back north then down Chalk Hill back to village hall.

Waltham Chase 1
Circular - 6 miles (SU559153 map 119). Via Solomon's Lane, Shirrell Heath to Turkey Island, then Redhill Nursery, Redhill Copse, Fordlands Farm to Biddenfield Lane and to Shedfield Common. Through St. John's churchyard to St. Anne's Lane north on there to the junction with the B2177 take footpath across to golf course, then take path directly north to Littlebull Lane and then Bull Lane and back into Clubhouse Lane.
