Malham Tarn, Malham Cove and Goredale Scar
This route visits 3 of the "must see" sights in Malhamdale. From the car park near Malham Tarn, it goes N to Malham Tarn then circles E via the site of an Roman marching camp to Goredale Scar. From there it climbs up onto the top of Malham Cove before returing on the Pennine Way up the dry valley of Ing Scar. The layby at Goredale or the village of Malham could be used as alternative start points. 13.4km, 336m ascent/descent, 3hrs. Recorded 4/9/15

Leith Hill Circular
A 13.5 mile walk taking in the Greensand Way and the North Downs Way and offering some excellent views from the top of Ranmore Common and from Surrey's highest point, Leith Hill. The walk starts at the Wotton Hatch Pub located on the A25, Guilford Road (RH5 6QQ) where there is free parking. From there the route climbs up to pick up the North Downs Way and on to Ranmore. You then drop down to Westcott before joining the Greensand Way towards Leith Hill and return to the start via Friday Street. If you have the energy to climb the steps to the top of the Tower (£1.50 for the 78 steps), you will be rewarded with views from North London to the English Channel and, on good days, be able to see 13 counties. There is an excellent NT kiosk selling pasties, cakes and drinks etc at the base of the Tower with possible refreshments, also, in Westcott and Friday Street as well as the Wotton Hatch at the end.
