Abbottstone 6.3 miles. (SU584361)Parking at the small carpark on Abbottstone Down. Head north along the Three Castles Path towards Brown Candover, continue twards Bugmore Hill. Turn south to Godsfield and Lower Lanham. Through Nettlebed Farm and down to the B3046 then north back to the carpark past Coombe Farm.

Lord's Seat, Geltsdale
This walk was intended as a circuit of Blotting Raise and Croglin Fell but the Open Acess Land was shut so Lord's Seat was used as an alternative. Although it starts on good tracks, a lot of the going on the fell is untracked, boggy, often with ground cover concealing holes and should be walked carefully. 14.8km, 485m ascent/descent, 3:50hr. Round Souther Fell

It climbs gently by the side of the River Glenderamackin before finally crossing it to climb the col between Souther Fell and Scales Fell then descends Mousthwaite Combe to join the gated road back to Mungrisdale. 10.1km, 345m ascent/descent, 2:30hr.
