A 15 mile Kent walk,Starting at Littlebourne,Wickhambreaux,Stodmarsh, Fordwich, Canterbury, Patrixbourne and Bekesbourne. A walk of farmland,woodlands,riverside as well as the city of Canterbury!

Dartmoor - Belstone, Steeperton Tor Horseshoe
The route climbs steadily from Belstone by a progressively less obvious path to gain the ridge at Oke Tor then follows the ridge before dropping down to ford the Stepperton Gorge stream at Knack Mine. A short climb to the summit of Steeperton Tor is followed by a descent to ford Steeperton Brook. The path heads E, occasionally hard to follow, skirting Hound Tor towards Little Hound Tor before descending above Small Brook by White Hill. From here the route follows the Bridle Way, actually little more than sheep tracks, across the flanks of Cosdon Beacon, fording Lady Brook. Near a cluster of gorse bushes another path heads downhill to a standing stone (not on map) then drops left to join a path heading back to Belstone via a foot bridge over the Taw. 16.3km, 424m ascent/descent, 4hrs. Wheatsheaf-20-08-2008
Wheatsheaf walk. 5.00 miles. Starting (SU559129) at the Wheatsheaf pub carpark. Head across Shedfield Common to Turkey Island. Take the road south to the junction of Frith Lane and Blind Lane, head east towards Northfields Farm but head south onto the railway track. Follow the track all the way south until Webbs Land Farm. Leave the track here heading west towards Quob Farm. Head north and pick up the track at the road junction to Treetops Fram and then through Tankerhill Copse, northwest to Biddenfield Lane and back to the pub.

Ford Loop
A 19.7km circular walk, west out of Ford following the old Chichester and Arun Canal. North, past Barnham Windmill to Slindon. Up onto the South Downs at Rewell Wood. West and down into Arundel before returning to Ford along the Arun levee.

Great Asby Scar Circuit
16 km circular route, Can be started at Great Asby or Gaythorne. Takes in Great Asby Scar National Nature reserve and surrounding Country. A good walk when the cloud is down on the higher fells. (This route was generated from digital mapping and walked by the author on 9/6/12)

Lovely Seat & Shunner Fell
From Thwaite follow FP and/or road to Muker. BW to Muker Common then follow line of Greenseat Beck to fence line. Bog hop to Lovely Seat via Peter Rigg and Coghill Head Hags then down to cattle grid on Cliff Gate Rd. Follow faint track to Hood Rigg. Bog hop along fence to Little Shunner and on to Great Shunner. Return via Pennine Way. 18.6km, 660m ascent/descent, est time 4:50. (Based on gpx trace recorded on 27/04/13). Not recommended in poor vis.
