Baugh Fell 

19.2km, 661m ascent/descent, 4:50hr. A long trek across moorland without paths for the most part to climb a little visited fell. Navigation in poor visibility would be a problem but from the summit plateau there are superb views of the Dales National Park (incl. Whernside, Pen-Y-Gent and Ingleborough) as well as the Howgills and Wild Boar Fell. This route is best attempted after a long dry spell as there are several stream crossings and many boggy sections en route. Recorded 01/07/15

Round Askrigg in the Dales 

14.4km, 363m ascent/descent,3:35hr. Starting at the car park in Askrigg this route goes out over the River Ure to Bainbridge then circles round Askrigg travelling along the edge of Brough Scar before descending to Worton village, Nappa Mill and Nappa Hall. It then climbs steadily up Harr Gill before contouring along a track to briefly join the Reeth road. After a brief descent down the road, it follows Low Straights Lane as far as the woods surrounding Whitfield Beck finally returning to Askrigg by the Beck, visiting Whitfield Gill Force and Mill Gill Force en route. It finishes at the Kings Arms in Askrigg which featured as The Dover's Arms in the TV Series All Creatures Great and Small. Recorded 29/06/15
