Leave rd at Bouldershaw, hd NW on BW to Martin Vein. Continue W to Little Punchard Head. Go S on BW to North Rake Hush. Return SE to start down Hard Level Gill. 16.5km, 426m vertical, 3:50hr. - First section by Barney Gill can be hard going in the bracken season as it gets head high and has little traffic. Can be avoided by taking Coast to Coast path.
