  • Chris Pearson says...
  • A dumping ground for old rusting farm machinery including a combined harvester and a boat. Overlooks Pevensey Levels (a SSSI) which were underwater as the ice melted 10000 years ago and sea levels rose, since silted up and now protected from the sea by a shigle bank formed along the beach by longshore drift. The Levels are largely drained by ditches to provide a network of grass pastures with wet fences (ditches) which support many insects (beetles and the like)

  • Trigpoint visited as a part of a long circular walk from Hooe Church on the otherside of Hooe Marshes. Close access difficult with the dense brambles and thistles present - 09/08/2022
