  • Chris Pearson says...
  • Easy Access land. name is a corruption of Oldwods lees. Signal brazier near trig. Local village web site clams "A triangulation pillar at 120 metres (394 feet) surmounts the Mount, the highest point in the village. In the winter of 2000 the mount was used as a film set in the making of 'Last Orders' staring Michael Cain and Bob Hoskins":. Does not seem enough room unlike the nearby hill called The Mount -wonder if there is a mix up here in reporting which hill was used.
