  • Big plans exist (currently refused?) for a large solar panel farm to the north of the trig. Huddlestone is a relatvely large scheme, costing £15M+ to build • The site will occupy about 80 acres, equivalent power to five really large wind turbines. enough power for at least 3400 homes. A good site because its close to the Adur power lines which have spare capacity and lots of sunshine in Sussex. May 2015 6.30am on a beautiful tranquil May morning with spring if full flourish. Parked to west and made a ciruclar walk through through fields wet with dew on fp then up and through farm dumping area to trig in hedge line lovely views from thi slight rise of the Downs in morning slanting light and fields and trees all about. returned along tarmac track through the barns of Huddleston Dairy farms
