Aviemore February 2025  

We had a week at Aviemore this February half-term. The plan was to do some gullies in the Northern Corries but the snow was very lean. All we could manage were variants of the Goat Track or Point 5 Gully or both, in pretty much any concievable order.  

Ballachulish February 2022  

Had a lovely week in Scotland bagging Corbetts Beinn Trilleachan Beinn Odhar Beinn an Lochain 901.7m (fantastic winter day out) probably the very best Corbett i’ve met. And a few nice low level walks around Ballachulish and Oban too.  

Ballater Spring Bank 2013  

We had a long weekend Munro bagging trip taking in: Schiehallion (1083m) Lochnagar (1155m), Carn a’Choire Bhoidheach (1110m), Carn an t-Sagairt Mor (1047m), Cairn Bannoch (1012m), Broad Cairn (998m) Beinn a’Bhuird North Top (1197m), Ben Avon-Leabaidh an Daimh Bhuidhe (1171m)

Bank Holidays 2022  

For the Jubilee Bank holiday we went up to Kingussie for a week: Meall na Leitreach 777.1m (2549ft) Beinn Teallach 914.6m (3000ft) Geal Charn (1049m) and Beinn a’ Chlachair 1087m (3566ft) Stob Coire Sgriodain 979m (3212ft) and Chno Dearg 1046m (3431ft) And a few lower level walks including Craigellachie (496m) from Aviemore;  Creag Bheag (487m) from Kingussie; and a » read more »

Beinn Alligin via Horns and Deep South Gully – Easter 2018  

Awsome day out doing Beinn Alligin via Horns and Deep South Gully (Grade 1) in perfect winter conditions. Even saw a white tailed eagle to top it all off.
