Dent to Ribblehead
Linear walk, can be done as a circular by taking train from Ribblehead station to Dent Station. Route is via Coal Road in direction of Garsdale then south on old pack horse trail to Newby Head to continue on Pennine Bridle Way to Ribblehead. 14.7km, ascent 426m descent 467m, 3:30hr. Ravenscar to Hayburn Wyke
Ravenscar to Hayburn Wyke 8 Miles 4 Hours. Lots of Free Parking in Ravenscar. Start/Finish from Tea Rooms in Ravenscar and take the Cycle Track South towards Scarborough. Best option is to Walk on the Cycle Track first as the track is very popular and most of the Cyclist are heading North towards you from Scarborough. Stop off at Hayburn Wyke and walk down to the Sea. Return on Cleveland Way Footpath. Not many seats on the Coastal path to stop and rest, but a couple I found have stunning views.
