Dartmoor - Rippon Tor Circular
Starting at Haytor Rocks car park, route goes via Bagtor and Bagtor Cottages to find track to Rippon Tor Range (involves short off piste with easy stream crossing after end of track past cottages - follow stream, duck under barrier or cross wall). Follow little used track to Rifle Range (disused). Follow roads NW then track across Blackslade Ford to Tunhill Rocks. Continue along ridge to Pil Tor and Top Tor before short descent back to road. Cross cattle grid then through gate to climb Rippon Tor then drop off far side on path to car park near Saddle Tor. Cross Saddle Tor before returning to start. 11.7km, 389m ascent/descent, 3hrs. Crookdale Horseshoe with Harrop Pike and Grey Crag
630mtrs ascent and descent, 17.6 km. Start at Shap summit layby on the A6 (NY553,063) This walk is the Crookdale Horseshoe but turning off at Lord's Seat to take in Harrop Pike and Grey Crag, returning to Lord's Seat to complete the Horseshoe. I suggest you only do this walk after a prolonged period of dry weather - the first section by the beck is bog and tussock and you will have to pick your own way along it to avoid the worst - my track is my selection. Once on Lord's Seat the terrain is much better and there is a quad track for most of the way from then on. Went through an obvious hole in the wall off High House Bank but there is a stile somewhere near if the wall has been repaired.

Round Peat Moor Hill
Park on Stang Road at Dry Gill Bottom. Walk up minor road to county boundary then on open moor to Arndale Hill. Aim for shooters' track to SE, some bog hopping involved. Follow track over Kexwith Moor and Booze Moor to Windegg Vein then back to start. 12.7 km, 301m ascent/descent, 2:45hr. Recorded 19/04/16.
