Burnhope Seat Circuit
From Burnhope Reservoir the route climbs onto Coldberry on a trackway. The rest of the route is off piste, there are no paths to speak of but there is a lot of peat bog to be traversed so this route is best attempted during a dry spell, Route takes in Three Pikes, High Field, Scaud Hill, Burnhope Seat, Dead Stones and Highwatch. Pen-Y-Ghent Tour
Starting at Horton-in-Ribblesdale the trace follows the 3 peaks route to the summit of Pen-Y-Ghent. From here it goes the length of the massif to Plover Hill before descending the northern flank of the hill and circling back round the eastern and southern flanks via the surrounding dales. 22.8km, 750m ascent/descent, 4:48hrs. Follows Roman road over Crosby Garret Fell. Park nr 1st cattle grid on B6261 after Orton. Follow line of Wicker Street to shooters' hut (not on OS). Take BW (not visible on gd) NE to Black Dub monument. Continue NNE to Wicker St summit. Follow FP NW past wood and bield to stone wall. Take grass track SSW to Trig Pt at ht 401. Follow shooters' track E to rejoin Wicker St and return S. 8.6km, 168m ascent/descent, 2hr. Track recorded 16/12/14.

Brownsey Moor
Take C2C route WNW from Surrender Bridge past Old Gang Mine. Cross beck and follow track beside Ash Pot Gutter to junction at ht 538. Follow track S across moor to Barl End Gate. Contour ESE on BW to meet minor road. Leave road at Blades, follow FP NE to start point. 10km, 285m up/down, 2:10hr. Recorded 29/10/14
