A 5 hour walk over 12 miles starting in Kettlewell,ascending upto 500m over Old Cote Moor descending into arncliffe.Following the River Skirfare to Litton and ascending to 600m over Haw Fell down to Buckden.Heading back along the River Wharfe to Kettlewell.

Dartmoor - Teign Gorge 

From Castle Drogo (NT) walk follows Hunter's Path to Fingle Inn (alt (free) car park), crossing Fingle Bridge and paralleling the river E before climbing to Woolston Hill Fort. A rapid descent back to the river is followed by level path along S bank W past Fingle bridge below Sharp Tor to cross on suspension bridge for a steady climb back to start. 12.8km, 459m ascent/descent, 3hrs. Beverley Twenty 

A clasic Walk from The Humber Bridge to Beverley, east Yorkshire

Starting in Coniston,just over 12 miles, misses the Old Man, finishes along Walna Scar Road.

High Seat and Bleaberry Fell from Watendlath 

From Kettlewell NT CP follow lane to Watendlath. Climb on BW towards Blea Tarn. Above tarn follow fence to col then cross and aim back to Armboth Fell then descend and climb High Tove. Follow fences to High Seat and Bleaberry Fell. Descend FP NW then circle back by Falcon Crag to regain road at Ashness Bridge. 16.6km,672m ascent/descent, est time 4:25. (Based on GPS track recorded on 26/02/13)

Wet Sledddale Horsehoe 

A longer version of the normal horseshoe in favour of taking in Mosedale Cottage Bothy and a good route for seeing Red Deer. From Wet Sleddale Reservoir SW via Wasdale Pike and Great Yarlside. W along fence line via Harrop Pike to Sleddale Fell. NW to Tarn Crag then N to Mosedale. NE to Mosedale Cottage (good lunch stop). Continue ENE to Scam Matthew then NNW to High Wether Howe. E to Seat Robert then along wall to gate, Return via Sleddale Hall and S side of reservoir. 21km, 659m ascent/descent, est time 5:50. (Based on gps trace recorded on 7/5/13). Very squelchy route even in dry weather.

Barf up past the Bishop 

A walk past the bishop of Barf onto, Lord's Seat, Broom Fell, Greystones and Whinlatter Top.

Stickle Tarn to Silver How 

A good way to avoid the Langdale crowds. Climb from New Dungeon Ghyll to Stickle Tarn and then follow the ridge via Blea Rigg and the Castle Howes to Silver How and then return on a super ledge walk contouring and descending back to Langdale. 11.2km, 586m ascent descent, 3:40hr. Recorded 25/03/16.
