Sgorr nam Fiannaidh
Track log from an ascent of Glencoe Munro Sgorr Nam Fiannaidh. Ascent was via north ridge with return via Pap of Glencoe. Start point is small parking area near bridge over Allt Coire na Ciche on the B863. Distance 8km, Time just over 5 hrs, ascent approx 1100m. Undoubtedly the best ascent route for this Munro is to do it as part of the Aonach Eagach ridge traverse. This northly route does provide an interesting alternative. [note it does involve wakling on some steep terrain.]

Track log from an ascent of Stob Binnein from the south. Returned via Meal na Dige and Meall Monachyle. Start point is car park at Inverlochlarig. Distance 14 km, ascent approx 1300m, time 6 hr 20 mins. [Times are for snow covered winter ascent - probably a good bit shorter in summer plus continuation to Ben More easily achievable with the longer days]

Glen Derry
There are numerous permutations of Munros that can be tackled from Linn of Dee near Braemar. This track log is a walk up Glen Derry that took in the summits of Beinn a'Chaorain, Beinn Mheadhoin before returning back over Derry Cairngorm. Route starts at the car park at Linn of Dee and mountain bike used as far as Derry Lodge. Distance 34k [12k on bike], ascent 1570m, time approx 9 hrs.
