Ben Starav
Another Ben Starav route, this one tackles the hill via its south west ridge. Contines on to Glas Beinn Mhor and descent via Coire Odhar. Start point in Glen Etive is access road to Coileitir Cottage [a few limited car parking spaces] Distance 21 km, ascent approx 1500m, time 9hrs [Snow covered winter ascent]

Culter Fell
Track log from an ascent of the hills surrounding Coulter Reservoir. 2 Grahams and 3 Donalds. Start point is a small parking area just past Culter Allers farm, Distance 23 km, ascent approx 1200m, time just under 8 hrs [Time was for snow covered winter ascent, probably an hour or so less in summer]

Numerous Munro permutations posible in the Lawers range. This is a track log from a winter ascent of 5 Munros. Start point is Visitor centre car park. Distance 18 km, Time just over 8 hrs, ascent approx 2000m.

Ben Challum
Track log from an ascent of Ben Challum. A variation on the normal route in that ascent was via Corbetts Beinn Chaorach and Cam Chreag with ascent of Ben Challum via its steep NW ridge. Start point is small parking area on road into Kirkton farm. Distance 19 km, Time 7hrs 40mins, ascent approx 1500m.

Carn Dearg - Sg?r Gaibhre
Track log from an ascent of Carn Dearg [Ossian] and Sg?r Gaibhre. Start point is Rannoch Station to get the train up to Corrour. Ascent of Carn Dearg is via Meall na Leitire Duibhe ridge. Distance 24 Km, time just over 7 hrs, ascent approx 900m.

Beinn a' Bhuird
Track log from an ascent of Beinn a' Bhuird. Slight variation in that ascent takes a more or less direct line up the south ridge. Start point small parking area at Linn of Quoich. Distance 27 km, time just over 8 hrs, ascent approx 1000m. [Time for snow covered winter ascent]

Sgorr nam Fiannaidh
Track log from an ascent of Glencoe Munro Sgorr Nam Fiannaidh. Ascent was via north ridge with return via Pap of Glencoe. Start point is small parking area near bridge over Allt Coire na Ciche on the B863. Distance 8km, Time just over 5 hrs, ascent approx 1100m. Undoubtedly the best ascent route for this Munro is to do it as part of the Aonach Eagach ridge traverse. This northly route does provide an interesting alternative. [note it does involve wakling on some steep terrain.]
