Buachaille Etive Mor [West to East]

Track log from a West to East traverse of Buachaille Etive Mor. Start point near Dalness in Glen Etive. Initial climb up the west ridge of Stob na Broige is fairly steep but no technical dificulties, gradient eases off once above 400m or so. The descent from Stob Dearg is via the rige on the East side of Coire Cloiche Finne, apart from a short section of scree no real problems. [A bike left in Glen Etive below Coire Cloiche Finne make for an easy freewheel back to the start point] If you have done the Buachaille Etive Mor by the more common routes [Curved ridge or Coire na Tulaich] then this makes an interesting alternative. Distance 15km, Ascent 1350m, time 6hr 15mins.
