From Burnhope Reservoir the route climbs onto Coldberry on a trackway. The rest of the route is off piste, there are no paths to speak of but there is a lot of peat bog to be traversed so this route is best attempted during a dry spell, Route takes in Three Pikes, High Field, Scaud Hill, Burnhope Seat, Dead Stones and Highwatch. Continue E past Rise Hill to wood at Snaizwold Fell. At Black Hill Moss descend on BW S cross Ewegales Bridge. Leave minor rd at Rivling to follow Dales Way as far as Laithbank.
